Snowed in again

So here we are, snowed in again for the 3rd or 4th time this winter, starting to lose count.  The damage this time was about a foot of snow, but the worst part was the ice.  About 5” of the stuff, really made life and digging out tough.  We did manage to dig out though and it feels nice to have a mostly clear driveway and it’s only Sunday afternoon.  I will say one thing for the about 6 feet of snow we’ve gotten this winter, it has taught Amy and I a lot about how to clear a driveway and how to do it quickly and as easily as possible.  We even helped out the road clearing guys buy pushing the ice off of our part of the road, and as a thank-you the snow plow guy didn’t push all the snow onto the driveway!  I was very thankful for that one.

But life here goes on and we continue with our day-to-day lives.  Counting down to PAX East at this point, something I’m SUPER stoked about.  While there’s been no official announcements yet, there’s a fair amount of speculation as to the companies and the musical groups which will be there.  Some of the music groups include MC Frontalot and Freezepop both are Nerdcore groups that are awesome!  Of course many of the big gaming companies are shaping up to be there as well, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, NVIDIA, etc. 

It should be an exciting time and the best part of the whole thing is that Amy and I will be with our good friends Anna and Aaron and it’s going to be in Boston which is a great city! 

Besides PAX this week also marks the release of Bioshock 2!!!  I have a feeling that will be a big time sink for me this week, but it’s looking like a great game and this time it has multiplayer, which will be great for PAX BYOC!
