So I just realized it's been a REALLY long time since I've blogged, so I thought it was about time for another round.
Nothing really crazy has been going on since I last wrote. I've been working the plans for our Germany trip in October and next week we're headed off to Tennessee to visit my mom's parents (who Amy has yet to meet...yes I know we've been married 3 1/2 years), and then off to Ingrid's wedding in Kentucky. Should be a good time, and it'll be a nice long road trip for Amy and I.
Other than that, not much really going on. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to blogging on a more regular basis, but we'll see.

Snow Day with the Dogs

Snow Day
So yesterday my wife and I woke up to find everything covered in a very deep blanket of white snow. We went out to measure and come to find out we got about 5.5” of the white stuff…awesome! Since we couldn’t even the road (it really was totally white) I got to stay home and work from home for the day.
It’s always a nice feeling to be able to stay home and work, got to spend time with the dogs and Amy, so it was a nice time.
Ok, on to different subjects…gaming! Last weekend I went over to my buddies house and we played Team Fortress 2 for a long time…it was tons of fun. I’m really start to get into the groove of being a Medic when my team is on offense, and then be an Engineer when my team is defense….oh yeah, speaking of Engineer, a great story:
We were playing the map that only has 2 capture points and we were on defense…at one point on a team of 15, there were 11 engineers…we didn’t bother protecting the first point, but the second point was totally on lock-down…the other team couldn’t even get near the cap point…it was so much fun. Granted, we went on offense the next game and couldn’t even get near the first cap point…oh well, that’s life. It was a blast though!
Aside from that I’ve been playing some more DoW 2, and trying to dig deeper into the game, I want to fully understand it before I write my next review. I still think it’s a good game, but it is very different from any other RTS you’ve ever played.
Anyway, that’s about it from me. More later on.
